  The Grand Opening of The Museum of the Central Sierra and Educational Center

The grand opening of The Museum of the Central Sierra and Educational Center was held on August 25th.  With completion of phase one of the construction of the museum, phase two will now begin.   The Museum will be open to local schools and tourists and for education and for the enjoyment of hikers.  The museum will be open for field trips to schools outside the area by spring of next year.
